8 students were successful in applying to take up the role of a young researcher in school. This is the first time a Secondary School has undertaken such a project working with the Colmore Partnership and Birmingham City University. The students visited the University to learn about action research and met students from across the city who are completing other projects. Over the next few months our students plan to gather information from different areas of the school as well as working in partnership with primary schools and offer some insights about any changes they think we can make. They will be celebrating their work in the summer term at the university along with some of the most significant professionals in education in Birmingham.
