Mid-term assessment dates:

Pupils are assessed on their overall ability in Physical Education. The assessment process involves pupils performing the 12 minute Cooper run fitness test, to measure their Cardiovascular Endurance and a 20 mark (one word answer) theory test, to see the level of understanding pupils have gained throughout the year. The third part of the assessment process is a practical assessment which sees pupils marked formatively against sport specific criteria, receiving a score out of 20 for every unit completed. Pupil’s strongest 3 scores are taken for the assessment.
