Pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 will study a bespoke curriculum designed to include computational thinking as well as traditional ICT skills. The aim of this new curriculum is to broaden the skill set of the pupils and enable them to develop high level expertise in a variety of ICT related areas. Over these three years pupils will learn about online safety, the basics of programming, how to create effective animations, websites and multimedia products such as movies and podcasts. They will become more independent in their use of ICT and more critical in reviewing and evaluating their products and performance in order to make improvements.
